How it works
Google sign in uses Chrome Identity and Google OAuth, so the extension can request your Gmail and Calendar data only after you approve access.
Quick links are either stored locally (personal) or shared through your organization group (Supabase database).
Side panel workflow keeps you in one place while you check what matters and jump to the right page when needed.
Security and privacy highlights
No selling of data. SidePortal does not sell personal information.
Least access. Only requests the Google scopes needed for the features you use.
Local first. Personal links are stored in Chrome storage on your device.
Clear controls. You can disconnect by logging out, and you can remove the extension at any time.
SidePortal uses Google APIs to display Gmail unread status, upcoming Calendar events, and Drive search shortcuts. Organization Quick Links are stored in a Supabase database to support group sharing by code.
